It's totally awkward trying to put into words to describe to you who exactly I am when I'm not very articulate. But what the heck, let's give it a go.
I'm Kandis, not Candice, Candace, Candis, Candiss, Kandice, Kandace, Kandiss, Candess or Kandess, just a silly little spelling of Kandis...we can thank my parents for that one.
I am a native of Utah but I have a bad case of wanderlust. I began traveling at a young age and my love for various cultures has never subsided. My soul delights in seeing new places and experiencing adventure but my heart will always long for home. One of my most favorite parts of vacation is walking in my front door when it's all over and smelling home.
I love all things fabulous and fru fru, I'm a girly girl till the end. I love good smelling things, sparkly adornments and little luxuries. I enjoy a cup of herbal tea, red lipstick and floral prints. I like to knit pretty little things and I guess you can say I have a inner granny. I have an insanely loud laugh and have contemplated getting a business card with a button that contains my laugh. But then I thought....'eh betta not'.
I have been married to my soul mate for almost 14 years. He is freaking awesome. No really, if it weren't cheesy I would get a bumper sticker that said "My husband is hot." But.....I'm not a fan of bumper stickers, but I am a fan of my hot husband. OH BABY! He and I met on a bad blind date, but obviously he redeemed himself because I said yes! He was born hearing impaired and just got a cochlear implant. It's been an adventure.
We have two littles. Elle and Ava. They are super fantastic. I would tell you more details about them, but I don't want any vans with Free Candy signs coming around my house...kidding....not kidding.
We have two dogs...Ruby and Pearl. Two little old lady dogs who hate each other, no really they do. We had Ruby since she was a puppy and then rescued Pearl in 2013. Pearl needs an attitude adjustment, Ruby needs a bath.
